01 / Scope and responsibility
Who this notice covers.
This notice applies to the public Lucius Pharmaceuticals corporate and scientific-information website. Lucius Pharmaceuticals determines the website purposes described here. Verified registered-office and dedicated privacy-contact details are not published in the current company source; requests may be initiated through the official Contact route.
This website is not a patient portal, clinical service or adverse-event reporting system.
02
02 / Data categories
A deliberately limited data surface.
When a visitor requests a page, hosting and security infrastructure may process IP address, user-agent, requested URL, timestamp, approximate country and security signals needed to deliver and protect the service. The website itself does not create user accounts, receive form submissions, collect payment details or build advertising profiles.
Network and request metadata handled by infrastructure
Device-local language and display preferences
No patient records, payment data or advertising identifiers
03
03 / Device storage
Language preference stays on the device.
The site uses browser local storage to remember the selected language, whether first-visit calibration has completed and the most recent detected language. Manual choice overrides automatic detection. These values are not health information and are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
04
04 / Purposes and basis
Delivery, security and requested preferences.
Data is handled only to deliver requested pages, maintain security and reliability, diagnose faults, remember a visitor’s language choice and meet applicable legal obligations. Where a legal basis is required, processing is generally necessary to provide the requested service or supports legitimate interests in operating and protecting an informational website, subject to applicable law.
05
05 / Providers and transfers
Infrastructure is provided through Cloudflare.
Cloudflare provides hosting, content delivery and security services and may process request data across its global network under its own contractual and legal safeguards. Lucius does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioural advertising or provide it to data brokers.
06
06 / Retention
Information is kept only as long as needed.
Language settings remain in local storage until the visitor changes them, clears browser data or uses a different device. Infrastructure logs and security events are retained according to operational need, security risk and the hosting configuration. The site currently maintains no separate database of visitor profiles or contact submissions.
07
07 / Individual rights
Rights depend on applicable law.
Depending on location and applicable law, individuals may have rights to information, access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent and complaint to a competent supervisory authority. Requests should identify the relevant interaction and must not include unnecessary medical or identity documents. Identity may need to be verified before a request is completed.
08
08 / Automated decisions
Language detection has no legal or medical effect.
First-visit language selection may consider device language, calendar locale, time zone and approximate country. It only selects a presentation language, is cached locally and can always be overridden manually. It is not used for eligibility, pricing, treatment, employment, credit or any similarly significant decision.
09
09 / Updates and contact
Material changes will be reflected here.
This notice will be updated before analytics, marketing tags, online forms, accounts, payment flows or other material data practices are introduced. Privacy enquiries may be initiated through the Contact page. Do not submit patient histories, treatment details, government identifiers or other sensitive information through general corporate channels.
